The Million Penny Project
is a fundraiser initiative that invites the community and local business’s to collectively donate their financial and professional resources for a cause. The goal is to raise one million pennies ($10,000) for every participating charity demonstrating the ability to provide relief.

The Crafting For A Cure team is a group of friends and family a few towns away in Palatine, IL from where I live. I was invited to participate in this wonderful event today with these giving women. I felt blessed to be able to give back today. So many have given to me, it was such a great feeling to give back!

I met some new friends, as well as fellow artisans I had already know. They have been coming together for 9 years to honor loved ones, celebrate survivor ship and raise money for the American Cancer Society.
